645 ♥ i met you four months last sunday, my oh my what a happy, clappy fun day.

IT'S TOTALLY TRUE, I DID, AND IT'S AMAZING AND I'M SO BEYOND HAPPY. I went into the pet store to get goldfish for Crucio, and the woman remembers me as the 'girl who always wants a hairless rat', but I knew they were breeding them, so I didn't bother asking this time.

And then she's getting me goldfish and casually says, 'You know, one of the breeder hairless rats are on sale...'

And I literally squealed and clapped and then slapped a hand over my mouth and choked on another squeal, and nearly fainted with joy. She was so amused, but yep, got me a hairless rat. She's pregnant, too! When she has her babies and raises them, I'm going to give one to Danielle and take the rest to the pet store - they said they'd give me rat food in exchange. :)

And her name is Doctor. Technically, she's Two, because my first Doctor rat died via a bludgeon to the head basically, but yep - I've got my Doctor #2. :D

AND LET'S TALK ABOUT SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT: ELEVEN'S NEW COMPANION!! (SPOILERS, DUH)

I really wanted a male, but I'm pleased with this one - true, mostly because she's ginger, but f;alkdj I AM SO EXCITED FOR HER AND ELEVEN and I kind of ship them already, even though I don't want anymore romance on this show for the Doctor. I prefer it like I prefer my Ten/Donna - besties on the show, but totally shippable in fandom! So, in celebration of the new era that's going to begin with the new year, I bring you:

rats are cute.
I really want a pet (rats are cute but my mum would FREAK out and I am never at home, so idk?) and I'd probably name it after some famous poet/writer, which would be fun.

and she's sooo pretty, even though I also wanted a male companion. oh well.

Doctor is a strange but also a great name. Any ideas for a female turtoise? :P

I named her Doctor after the lead character of Doctor Who - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQINlUB3Kww

But my other rats I name after personality traits! I have one named Dorky, and I used to have one named 'Lovely'. :)

What's the tortoise like?

So much love for you for having a Ring icon! SO MUCH LOVE. I'm almost tempted to tell you to name her Samara. :P Or Buffy, because I'm a huge fandom nerd.

I've always liked going for really weird names; names that are adjectives and adverbs.

Ring is LOVE. :D And [info]princessbloomy always makes so beautiful Ring icons, I HAD to use one and this time, it's this one. ;)
Samara would be a great idea! But I don't know if my parents are going to like it. But I'll suggest it to them later. ;) Thank you!
I've never watched Buffy, so no to this name. ;)

If I named my pet Samara I would be like 'MOM, IF YOU TOUCH MY PET YOU WILL DIE IN SEVEN DAYS'

Well, maybe name the turtle after one of her personality traits? Or name her after a color! Or or, I name my great danes after greek gods, and I had a pony I named after an emperor! Maybe something spacey like a constellation?

The girl is crazy pretty and I simply can't WAIT to see her on the show. I believe thay're gonna do just great with Matt :) Love the picspam!

Also, lol, naming two aimals after The Doctor. I have a ridiculous romance with the name Ophelia and so far I've had a bird and a gerbil named Ophelia. -_- Both failed horribly.

And it wasn't really a 'I love the name Doctor so much I need to use it multiple times' - i'd had one rat that i'd planned NOT to die, but it died within a fucking week, and everyone suggested I name the next one Doctor too, because rats can only live about one-four years at the most, so each time one dies, I name the next one Doctor, so on and so forth, eventually having so many dead rats in my past that I have my own old Who with One, Two, Three, and so on!
